Your life is meant to be enjoyed. Let’s get to that place together! I’m Lisa Capell Blackmon; a native of Wilmington, NC. I attended UNCW for a degree in Psychology, and earned a Master’s degree in Counseling in 1995 from The Citadel. As a practitioner with years of formal training and a myriad of life experiences, I have much practice in listening therapeutically to understand, assess, and diagnose. I’ve worked for The Center for Mood and Anxiety Programs and The Center for Drug and Alcohol Programs at the Medical University of South Carolina as well as in many other settings. I would be honored to help you get ‘unstuck’!
From me, you will receive compassion, support & a good deal of candor. I offer real feedback. We will partner together move in a positive direction. I am a therapist who after understanding the problem at hand, likes to stay solution focused. We will use your own wisdom about yourself in conjunction with my training to help you be your best self.
All of us struggle at times. The best thing you can do for yourself and your loved ones is to pay attention to your struggle, then, move through it in counseling so that you can enjoy your life! Give me a call for a quick, free consult. I am currently offering Telehealth sessions in light of the Coronavirus.
